Unit 1 How tall are you?
一． 单位词汇
metre , cm (centimeter), kilogram , ton , year
句型：主语+be +数字 +单位 （数字大于1，单位用复数）
练习：我身高1.6米。
我的爸爸体重60千克。
这个大象重2吨。
罗宾的爷爷70岁。
二． 询问体貌 how X k B 1 . c o
句型：How + 形容词原级 + be +主语 ？
 tall 身高
heavy 重量 eg.---How heavy is it? ---It’s five tons.
long 长度
 big 大小
old 年龄 Size +数字。
询问尺寸： What size + be +主语？
主语+wear (s) +size +数字。
Eg. -- What size are your shoes?---My shoes are size 35. X|k | B | 1 . c |O |m

Eg. Your feet are bigger than mine.

比较级
 句型： A +be +比较级 + than + B.
A + be +差值 +比较级+than +B。
 比较级变化规则： 1)一般情况 + er younger, older, taller, shorter, longer, smaller, stronger, smarter, lower
2) 不发音e结尾， +r nicer, larger, finer, later
3) 一个元音字母+一个辅音字母 双写辅音字母+er bigger, fatter, hotter, thinner
4)辅音字母+y y改为i+er angrier, happier, easier, busier, heavier
5)多音节词 词前+more more interesting / beautiful
6）不规则 good/ well --- better bad/ill --- worse many/much --- more little --- less far – farther
四．最高级
变化规则：以上前5项， er – est,
不规则：good/ well --- better--- best
bad/ill --- worse---worst
many/much --- more--most
little --- less---least
far – farthest
句型：主语+be +the +最高级+介词短语（表范围：in this hall, in my class, in the room, of the three, of all the students）
Eg. That’s the tallest dinosaur in this hall.
四． 句子解析。X| k |B| 1 . c| O |m
I’m 21 metres tall. I’m the tallest.
I’m 1.6 metres tall. I’m taller than this dinosaur.
Some dinosaurs are bigger than houses. Some are smaller than our schoolbags.
五． Let’s talk.
Zhang Peng: Look! That’s the tallest dinosaur in this hall.
Mike: Yes, it is. How tall is it?
Zhang Peng: Maybe 4 metres.
Mike: Wow! It’s taller than both of us together.
Zhang Peng: Look! There are more dinosaurs over there!
Mike: They’re all so big and tall.
ZhangPeng: Hey, this dinosaur isn’t tall. I’m taller than this one.
Mike: Oh, yes. How tall re you?
ZhangPeng: I’m 1.65 metres.
六． Let’s learn.
ZhangPeng: How tall are you? X k B 1 . c o
John: I’m 1.61 metres.
ZhangPeng: Oh! I’m taller.
John: You’re older than me, too.
